1Who we are

Five Star Profile is a Google reputation service, done for you, for local businesses, based in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Five Star Profile, and “you” means the business that signs up. Questions? Email hello@fivestarprofile.com.

By signing up or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2The service

We look after your Google Business Profile and reviews for you: we ask your customers for reviews, answer your reviews in your voice, post your jobs on your profile, watch your profile for unwanted changes, report fake reviews to Google and send you a monthly report. Everything happens by email. We don’t make calls, we don’t text, and there are no apps, logins or portals.

3Plans and billing

• There is one plan, the Reputation Pack, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Yearly plans include 2 months free.
• The regular price is $179 a month or $1,790 a year. If you sign up by March 31, 2027, you get the introductory price of $149 a month or $1,490 a year, locked in for as long as your plan stays active.
• Your plan renews each month or year until you cancel. Stripe handles all payments, and we never see your full card number.
• There is no setup fee and no contract.

4Cancelling

You can cancel anytime by emailing hello@fivestarprofile.com. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then it ends and you are not charged again. Apart from the first month refund below, we don’t give partial refunds for unused time.

5Refunds and our guarantee

• First month refund: not happy after your first month? Email us and we refund your plan and any add ons. On a yearly plan, that means the full year.
• Website build: the one time Website build fee (from $897) isn’t refundable once you approve your preview. If you don’t approve your preview, you get a full refund of the build fee.
• Reply guarantee: every new review gets a reply within 2 business days, or that month is free. For bad reviews, the clock starts when you OK the reply. Google outages and removed access don’t count.

6Add ons

You can add these at checkout, on the setup form, or anytime later by email:

• Website articles: $249 a month for 2 helpful articles a month about your work. We post them to your website if you give us access, or send them ready to paste.
• Website: from $897 one time to build, plus $49 a month for hosting and small changes. You look over a preview before it goes live.
• Another location: $99 a month for each extra Google profile.

On a yearly plan, monthly add ons are billed yearly with 2 months free too. Add ons can be cancelled the same way as your plan.

7Referral thank you

Know another business owner who would like the same help? Send them your personal link from us.

• For them: half off the plan for their first month. This is for monthly plans, and add ons are full price.
• For you: once they pay for their first month, we credit one month of your plan ($149 or $179, whichever you pay). It comes off your next bill, or off your next renewal on a yearly plan. There’s no limit.
• You need an active plan, and the business you refer must be new to Five Star Profile. Referring yourself, another location of yours or another business you own doesn’t count.
• If their first month is refunded, the credit is removed.
• Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred and apply to the plan only, not to a Website build, hosting or articles.
• Referrals are never tied to reviews. Nobody is asked to leave a review to get or give a referral.
• We can change or end the program by updating this page. Credits you already earned are honored.

8What we need from you

• Accurate business details, and updates if they change.
• Manager access to your Google Business Profile, so we can do the work.
• Honest job details and photos of your own work, sent only for real customers you actually served.
• Permission to share your customers’ names and emails with us so we can ask them for reviews.

9Approvals

Replies and posts are approved by you or posted automatically, your choice. You pick at setup and can change it anytime by email. Replies to bad reviews always wait for your OK.

10Reviews and Google’s rules

• We ask only real customers for reviews, and we ask every customer, not only the happy ones.
• We follow Google’s review policies and the FTC’s rule on fake reviews. We never write or post fake reviews and never offer discounts, gifts or payment for reviews.
• Google makes its own decisions. When we report a fake review or one that breaks the rules, Google decides whether it comes down. Google also decides when posts show and how profiles rank.

11No promised results

We guarantee the work we control, not the outcome. No one can honestly promise a ranking, a spot on Google Maps or in search answer boxes, a star rating or a number of new reviews, calls or jobs, and we don’t.

12Your profile, website and content

You own your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your photos and your content. You stay the owner, and you can remove our manager access anytime. Replies and posts we publish stay on your profile after you leave. You let us use your photos and details only to provide the service, never in our own ads without your permission.

Once your Website build is paid for, the website is yours: its content, its design and your domain. If you stop hosting with us, we send you the site files.

13When we can stop service

We can pause or end service if someone asks us to break Google’s rules or the law, sends fake or misleading job details, abuses our team or the service, or doesn’t pay. If that happens, we tell you by email.

14Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update this page and the effective date above, and email active clients about any important change before it applies.
